The Challenge

API was looking to build a brand new headquarters building in northern Phoenix and asked Aevio to automate a broad variety of systems in the building. The request included video conferencing, security system integration, audio/video, paging, lighting, shades, environmental controls, access control and garage door openers.

The Aevio Response

Aevio suggested designing the various systems around Crestron, 2N and Episode products.
Building access control is built around 2N systems with intelligent entry built around Bluetooth technology to provide automatic employee access through their cellphone. Outside gate access is controlled by intelligent 2N/Crestron products to provide entry through an iPAD interface in the office. 

The security system is customized with voice/sound for alarm control guidance and door entry notifications through soft chimes. Audio systems are managed by Crestron controllers, amplifiers and Episode speakers for high quality A/V in conferencing and building communication. Building HVAC is smartly controlled by Crestron equipment. 

Building security cameras and Internet are managed by high quality Ubiquiti components that provide ease-of-use and remote access by external devices such as smartphones, PCs and tablets. 

Aevio installed a state-of-the-art video conferencing system built around the Crestron Flex system. This system integrates closely with Microsoft Teams to provide a consistent user interface between multiple devices (i.e. phone, tablet, laptop, touch panel).
